 Lions Clubs International is the worlds largest service club with 1.4
million members in 191 countries and geographical areas. The Lions mission
statement is "to create and foster a spirit of understanding among
all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through
community involvement and international cooperation." The Keokuk
Lions Club has been actively providing voluntary service since 1921.
